There is always a running debate about whether to include pricing information on a website. It seems a bit crass to discuss money, but any potential customer wants to know how much services cost. The firm uses a flat fee schedule for most things:

Juvenile and criminal cases are scheduled according to the level of the offense. Misdemeanors are set at $1500.00 a case; felonies at $2500.00. The fee includes all the work necessary to resolve the case, short of trial. Trial work is based on an hour rate of $200.00 an hour. Estimates are given as to what trial will run, based on the nature of the case, facts, number of witnesses etc.

CPS cases are time eaters and using a flat fee arrangement is just not possible. Time is billed at $200.00 an hour with a retainer of $10,000.00. Work is billed off the retainer, and when it is depleted, more money must be paid to secure the remainder of the work.

Probate cases are billed at a flat rate for filing a probate of $2000.00. Wills, living will, medical power of attorneys and directive to physicians, are prepared in a bundle for $500.00.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases are billed at a flat rate of $1500.00 for the attorney fees. Court costs currently run $335.00.

Mediation fees are billed at a minimum of a four hour window at the rate of $300.00 per side or $600.00. Time beyond the four hour window is billed at $75.00 an hour for each side; and recessed cases that come back for additional mediation, are billed at the hourly rate without the minimum window.
